Sooooo......I've never done a black smokey eye right! I tried it. With my afro. I know, I know......I promise the black panther in me is done!:} It came out ok. But THEN I said to myself, "Self, you can do better." So, since I was goin' out, I decided to add pink and silver. Check out both>>>>>
I used the 88 palette for this one.
Just trying this whole smokey black business.
I used:
Eyes: Prep+Prime Eye Dark (MAC)
Shroom, Saddle, Carbon, Electra, Framboesia by B.O.A, Blackrack Fluidline, NYC mascara. (I was too lazy to do flasies)
Face: Prep+Prime Face, Revlon Color Stay #400, Minerlize SkinFinish in Dark, Framboesia by B.O.A for blush, Yogamode beauty powder for highlight.
Lips: NYX Salsa & MAC Morning Glory

You're so stunning and your MU just enhances your natural good looks. Your blog is brilliant. I'll def be coming back time and time again for inspiration.
stunning look there missy. Everything about you is on point! Loves it!!!
the smokey look looks amazing, spesh with the afro
Both looks are beautiful. I am still unsuccessful at a black smokey eye. By the time I get it that trend will be over. :-( And you make me miss my short hair.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Your compliments really mean a lot to me:} You all are SO sweet!!!
...AllmEYEne...- You have the Perfect eyes for it and it will NEVA go out of style. Its really easy. I was scared of the black so I would never do it but its the same as adding any other color on the lid. I found that doing it from the brow down is less messy and a lot easier than the lid up. Apply ur highlight, a brown to ur crease and blend it. Then add whatever color to your inner eye like a silver or white (or something) then apply the black on your lid. Blend the black and the brown with the brush you applied the brown shadow with. That way the black won't spread everywhere and look like mud.
Try it and let me know how it turns out please:}
Wow - beautiful!! I love all of the looks! I just came across your blog and am loving it!
I like that wig. At first I thought you were a fellow natural and I was about to hate on your fro. That is too cute. You making me want to get one so I can pretend I got that length.
Peace

@Michelle- Thanks a million
@Sunshinelovespace- I bought that wig for 20 bucks at a beauty supply. I originally bought it for a photo shoot but didn't use it. My boyfriend hates it! I wish I had the guts to go natural again!!
@Yummy411- Thank you! I was always afraid of a black lid thinking I would look like a raccoon and black can get messy if u don't know how to control it. I'm glad I came out of my comfort zone. The fro will be back in ur honor!! :}
