IMATS 2011, 2011 BET Awards AND Other News (Picture Heavy)

I've missed you all a great deal. I'm back! For real this time.....:)

So....I went to IMATS in Pasadena on Sat, 6/25/11. I had a BALL & spent WAYYYYY to much money!
I met up with a Beautiful young lady named Nickie (pictured below) I met in a Facebook makeup chat & hung out with her for the day. I also met a few youtube "gurus" I watch & bloggers whose blogs I LOVE!! I took a few pictures.....

MAC lipstick in Morange,  MAC Studio Finish Concealer,  Revlon Colorstay 400 foundation,  Maybelline Fit me Powder,  MAC Devil blush, Urban Decay 24/7 liner in zero. No eyeshadow.

While I was there, I allowed someone from CoverFX to give me a 'makeover'! She felt I didn't need to be contoured & reapplied my makeup to tone me down. Hey, what did I have to lose? `\(^-^)/` She did a great job!

The rest of my goodies I purchased!   23 pairs of lashes,  3 Cozzette brush & applicator holders, Beauty So Clean wipes, brush cleaner & cosmetic sanitizing mist, 3 NYX concealers, 3NYX Jumbo Pencils, 3 NYX loose glitters, 2 lips glosses, 1lipstick & blue liquid liner, 4 CoverFX items (turns out I only like 2), Parian Spirit Brush Cleaner (I love it),  Model in a Bottle (Loves it),  Lipgloss wands, 2 spatulas, brush belt, 35 brushes from Bdellium & Crownbrush AND the book Forever Flawless by Napoleon Perdis

One of my favorite people ever....Tocarra Jones.  My sister Keesh does her makeup so I got to jump in a flick with her!

CoverFX concealer, Revlon ColorStay 400 foundation,  MAC MSF powder in Dark,  MAC Plum Foolery blush, Wet & wild lipstick, Palladio gloss in Mocha & brown Hard Candy liner smudged on my lids.

Some of the celebs came with their own makeup artist. A lot didn't but were able to get their makeup done before the show.  Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures while working so here's a list of the women I got to touch up.......... Jamie Foster-Brown, KiKi Palmer, Tierra Marie, Sylvia Rhone, Denala, Layla Ali, Anita Baker, Lorean Gibson, Meagan Good, MC Lyte, Kyla Pratt, Marsha Ambrosious AND I got a Big 'Ol kiss from Nia Long!  I enjoyed working with all of the ladies. It was a great experience & a blessing!!

I ALSO got to do the Mablean Ephriam H.U.F. Awards June 19th.  I really enjoyed myself & met lots of wonderful people!!  Here are some flicks from the event..........
